Download the "HP Precisionscan LTX 1.2 Software Image Enhancement Update for USB" This update driver will also increase the scanning speed. Click here to locate the HP Scanjet 2200C download page to obtain this driver. Once the software has been downloaded to the computer, follow the installation instructions below:

                     1. Make sure the scanner software is installed.
                     2. Make sure the scanner is not plugged in to the computer with the USB cable.
                     3. Close all open applications.
                     4. Double-click the file, SJ588en.exe, that was downloaded.
                     5. Click Unzip on the self-extractor window that appears. The file will decompress into a default folder c:\sj588 or any folder of your choice.
                     6. A window saying five files unzipped successfully will appear. Click OK.
                     7. A new window will appear. Click OK and the software upgrade will install automatically.
                     8. Restart the computer.
