  == Welcome to OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 for eComStation and OS/2 ==

This download contains the English version of OpenOffice.org 1.1.4
for eComStation and OS/2.

OpenOffice.org 1.1.4:

To start the installation of this exciting new productivity suite for
eComStation and OS/2 please use the [INSTALL.EXE]
This installer will verify the following options:

* The Innotek Font Engine has to be installed, if it is not or outdated,
  it will invoke the installer of the Font Engine

* Crystal Sound audio drivers cause problems with the Innotek Runtime. If the
  installation tool detects the Crystal drivers are active in your system, it
  will disable sound in the Innotek Runtime to prevent problems later on.

* The Innotek Runtime will be installed at the required level.

* Optionally you can select to install the Java 1.4.2_05 runtime environment,
  which is supported in OpenOffice.org.

* Finally the installer will invoke the installation of OpenOffice.org 1.1.4

* When finished a registration box appears where you can enter the registration
  code of OpenOffice.org to enable full functionality.

!Please note: For installation, at least 500MB of disk space should be
available on the target drive. A complete installation requires about 150MB
of diskspace. However, the installation requires temporary disk space.

!Registering: If you do not register your copy of OpenOffice.org, printing
will be disabled. To register after installation, you can start [REGISTER.EXE]
from the \PACKS\ directory.
The tool will allow you to import the key from clipboard or file.

Manually invoking installers: if you experience problems with the supplied
[INSTALL.EXE] you can manually invoke the installation of the several parts
required by OpenOffice.org 1.1.4:

\PACKS\FT2_240.EXE  - Fontengine installer (required)
\PACKS\RT112B20.EXE - Innotek Runtime 1.12 installer (required)
\PACKS\JRE142_05.EXE - Java Runtime installer (optional)
\PACKS\OOO_INST.EXE - English OpenOffice.org installer
\PACKS\REGISTER.EXE - Registration utitity
