YOU Must install the base Java118 first before you install the Java118 Fixes. If you only need Java for use with Netscape and running local applets, you only need to install javainrt.exe, followed by runtime.exe. Uncompress the javainrt.exe files by using the following switches. javainrt -di -ov These switches are required on all JAVA base packages. Decompress JAVAINRT.EXE in a temp directory, you will need to have Netscape installed before you install JAVA. Once you have installed the base JAVA, copy the runtime.exe file to your root directory of the drive you have installed JAVA to, type "runtime", and answer A for overwrite All. The runtime exe file by default extracts to a subdirectory called "JAVA11", the same directory that the base package is installed to by default. If you have loaded the JAVA from the OS/2 Warp v4.0 CDROM, after you reboot, you can delete the "JAVA" directory as the "JAVA11" directory is now your working copy of JAVA. Cheers Ian Manners
