This software package provides IBM's most current support for:

    * Intel's SpeedStep technology for IBM ThinkPad T2x and T30 systems
    * Intel's Enhanced SpeedStep technology for IBM ThinkPad T40 systems 

The following IBM OS/2 operating system versions support the SpeedStep and Enhanced SpeedStep technologies, when the appropriate OS/2 FixPaks and device-driver support are applied.

    * Warp 4 Convenience Pak Two Manufacturing Refresh
    * Warp 4 Convenience Pak Two
    * Warp 4 Convenience Pak One 

For clean installs of Warp 4:

    * Install your Warp 4 Convenience Pak
    * Install the OS/2 Base FixPak Three (XR_C003)
    * Install the OS/2 Device Driver FixPak Three (XR_D003)
    * Install the SpeedStep and Enhanced SpeedStep device-driver support from the OS/2 Device Driver Pak Online 

   1. Create a temporary directory (for example 'xxxx') and download the driver to the directory. In an OS/2 window enter the following commands:

   3. os2spdst -d
   4. gsvinst
