RESOLUTION: Contact Number 9 or Diamond computer vendor for an OS/2 device driver to run in high resolution (SVGA). Installing S3 964 Drivers on OS/2 Warp ---------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS: 1. Installation does not finish. 2. Installation hangs. RESOLUTION: 1. Edit the S3INST.CMD file 2. Change all references to X:\OS2 to X:\OS2\BOOT. (X: = drive where OS/2 resides) The drivers in original format do not install because they reference the OS/2 directory. OS/2 Warp installs the drivers into the OS2\Boot directory. PROCEDURES: 1. Insert the S3 driver diskette in the diskette drive. 2. Type the drive letter, for example A:. 2. Type: E S3INST.CMD 3. Change the the following line: From: X:\OS2 To: X:\OS2\BOOT X: = drive where OS/2 resides 4. Save the file. 5.
