There is a good chance that your system's video is using a Cirrus Logic Chipset. We have found that many of the Cirrus Logic Chip's do not interact very well with Entrepeneur. Most video cards these days have their own hard coded routines to draw the mouse to the screen, it is these routines that are conflicting with Entrepreneur. Because of this we have incorporated a second method to draw the mouse to the screen. To use this method you will need to run Entrepreneur with the MOUSE parameter. If you run Entrepreneur from a Command Prompt run: entw.exe mouse Of you will need to edit the properties of the Entrepreneur Shortcut and add the parameter MOUSE to the Target executable line. If you are using Windows 95 and Entrepreneur is still locking up when you try to load Entrepreneur you need to turn off the graphics acceleration. To do this go into the Control Panel and open the System Properties. Within the System Properties select the Performance Tab. On the Performance page click on the Graphics Button. Now Move the Slider from FULL to NONE. Click OK and close the Systems Properties. Your system will now need to reboot. After rebooting you should now be able to run Entrepreneur. We haven't been able to track down this problem yet but you can move the unit by doing the following: First click on the Unit in question. Then click on the 'Unit' button on the Right side of the screen below the Map. In the Frame above you should see a representation of your sales/marketing unit. Click on that unit to deselect it, or click on a nother unit if available. Then reclick on that unit(in the frame below the map) to select it again. You should now be able to move your sales/marketing unit to another region by right clicking on the desired region. ? Apparently we did not check for case sensitivity in the path name. You MUST use a lower case letter for the Drive letter. If you use an Uppercase letter you will get the error message stating that you do not have enough drive space. ? If Windows cannot find DDRAW.DLL then you will need to install/reinstall DirectX.
