The earlier problem of JPhotoBrush Pro with Innotek's Java has been fixed. Note that the new version requires 1.4 and higher as it makes use of java 1.4 imageIO. One easy way of running the program is to use Run Java by Cary Renquist, a program that enables running of Java programs with the click of the mouse in OS/2 ECS. Get Run Java here: http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/wps/run_java__20030526.zip (28 kb) Once it's installed, all you have to do is double click any .jar object (for example the JPhotoBrush.jar file) and it opens right up. No messing with scripts or command line. Works for java 1.3 and 1.4 both. It will also create a permanent program object if desired. OS2 News: Innotek has made JPhotoBrush Pro part of their regular test suite that they perform before releasing new builds of OS/2 Kit for Java. Evaluation version saved or printed image will have the word 'Saved in Trial Version of JPhotoBrush Pro' written across the image. Some plugins do not work with trial version. All these restrictions are removed in the registered version.
