IBM Integration Test Lab, Austin Texas. This system model identified in the hardware configuration
file (hardware.txt) was added to the OS/2 Hardware Compatibility List on the Web. Please allow
ten days for posting (www.software.ibm.com/os/warp/hw-cert/pcm/pcm_syst.htm).

Pursuant to terms of the ITL Test Agreeement, IBM discloses the Test Report attached. A signed original
of the OS/2 Tested and Approved for LAN Systems Logo License Agreement must be submitted to the OS/2
Compatibility Program Office for use of the logo by the Manufacturer in any product promotions.

Additional Configuration Information:

1) OS2 driver for the EtherExpress card was taken from the System Configuration Software CD supplied with the system. From that CD the Intel 82557 Fast Ethernet LAN Configuration and Driver diskette was created.

2) The lan distance connection server testing did not work with the EtherExpress adapter. With that adapter in the connection server the remotes dialing in could not contact network resources. The 3Com Fast Etherlink card was used to complete that testing successfully.

3) The drivers for the 3Com Fast Etherlink adapter came from the drive diskette provided with the card.

4) After loading Warp Server's Personal Safe and Sound component the RC 440FX would complain about two drivers. The ADSMTAPE.SYS and the ADSMSDID.SYS device driver statements were rem'ed out of the config.sys. These drivers were not needed for the compatibility testing.

5) The OS/2 dump test case did successfully dump memory to disk but it was necessary to specify a drive letter in the config.sys file one letter higher then where the dump was actually put. trapdump=on,g: was used to dump memory to the f: drive (f: was formated for FAT with a label of SADUMP)
