Additional Configuration Information:

To properly install OS/2 Warp 4 with the Adaptec AHA-2940UW/B SCSI controller, the Adaptec 2.11 Family OS/2 drivers were required. These drivers were installed in accordance with the instructions contained with the drivers. These drivers must also be installed on the remote installation disks after they are created if remote installation is intended. This driver package is available from Adaptec's website at www.adaptec.com.

The Crystal Audio version 2.02 & 2.05 drivers for the CS4235 audio chip would not allow the system to pass Multimedia and Speech Recognition testing. The Crystal Audio CS4236/32 drivers that ship with the OS/2 Warp 4 CD-ROM were used to provide audio support. To use these drivers, the following changes to the config.sys were made:

Drivers for the SMC9432TX-WOL 10/100 ethernet adapter are normally shipped with the adapter and may also be obtained on SMC's web site at www.smc.com.

Drivers for the Intel EtherExpress PRO/100+ ethernet adapter are normally shipped with the adapter and may also be obtained from Intel's website at www.intel.com.
