Additional Configuration Information:

Installation notes:
Adaptec driver aic7870.add dated 1/12/98 or later
is required to avoid intermittent system hangs.
This driver is provided in the Hewlett Packard
Navigator CD-ROM. It is recommended to install
OS/2 base with no options using the driver provided
in the OS/2 CDROM. Next replace the
C:\OS2\BOOT\AIC7870.ADD driver with the one
provided by Hewlett Packard.
At this point it is recommended to install any other
options such as Lan Distance, TME 10, etc.

Memory Dump Notes:
The Adaptec driver aic7870.add dated 1/12/98 has a
problem with taking memory dumps.
Hewlett Packard is working with Adaptec at getting
this issue resolved. The Adaptec driver AIC7870.ADD
dated 8/14/96 provided in the OS/2 CDROM takes
memory dumps fine.
