All Tests Pass for OS/2 Hardware Compatibility Testkit Version V4.1. This system model, as tested by
the Manufacturer and identified in the Machine Configuration file (machine.txt) submitted by the
Manufacturer, is hereby added to the OS/2 Hardware Compatibility List on the Web. Please allow ten
days for posting (www.software.ibm.com/os/warp/hw-cert/pcm/pcm_syst.htm).

Pursuant to the terms of the OS/2 Compatibility Testkit License Agreement, IBM discloses the Test
Report attached. A signed original of the OS/2 Tested and Approved for LAN Systems Logo License
Agreement must be submitted to the OS/2 Compatibility Program Office for use of the logo by the
Manufacturer in any product promotions. For questions regarding these test results or the compatibility
of systems or model configurations not provided herein, contact the Manufacturer per information
provided in the attached Test Report.

The Manufacturer claimed one or more equivalent model(s). With exception to change of mechanical
configuration (i.e. number of bays), number of slots on a planar riser, number of hardfiles, sizes of
hardfiles, or size of system memory, a model may be claimed as equivalent to the model that was tested
in the attached report. A model with any other changes is not equivalent and requires testing for an

Notes:

1) ITLDUMP:

New Adaptec driver (aic7870.add) dated:1/9/98, file size: 133,496 was used to complete the Certification
tests. However, was unable to complete the memory dump using this driver. Memory dump test (ITLDUMP)
was completed using the old Adaptec driver dated: 8/14/96, file size 39,886. Adaptec has acknowledged
that this is not an HP NetServer specific issue. The problem relates to the 7880 chipset, SCSI BIOS
and driver. Adaptec is working to fix this problem.

2) ITLRAID:

This test was completed using HP NetRaid Driver version 1.09 dated: 1/30/98 file size: 21144. To view
the drive status and to rebuild logical drive HP provides two utilites Megamon.exe and Megaconf.exe.
Utilities and driver are provided on the Hewlett Packard Navigator CD-ROM. Contact your Hewlett Packard
representative for driver updates.
