Additional Configuration Information:

ProLiant 1600 passed all IBM certification test suites except SNFMVDM
using the current system ROM. Compaq has successfully modified the ROM
to pass this test. Final testing is in process for this fix. Check the
Compaq web site (www.compaq.com) or call Compaq Technical Support for
more information.

Details: MAT015.exe, a DOS based program which tests the numeric coprocessor
exception handling method of a server, is the specific SNFMVDM test suite
test which the ProLiant 1600 did not pass. The test creates a numeric
coprocessor exception and relies on the system BIOS IRQ13 handler to have
an INT 2 which it can take over to clear the exception. The current
ProLiant 1600 ROM does not have the INT 2 statement in its IRQ13 handler.
It is assumed that most OS/2 applications which might generate a numeric
coprocessor exception will handle the exception iternal to the application
or at the operating system level without relying on the system BIOS to handle
this function.
