EPIA REV. E 2 x 168pin DIMM PC100/133 SDRAM 1GB Max system memory. 512MB Max DIMM Size ? Number of Memory Slots 2ž168pin Memory Standard SDRAM PC66/100/133 Maximum Memory Supported 1GB =-=-=-=-=-= There have been several cases of compatability issues with 1Gb RAM sticks and different Epia boards. This is from an LN10000EG manual but also applies to several more Epia boards: "Due to the hardware limitation, DDR2 SDRAM chips organized as 128Mb x 8 bank cannot be supported by EPIA products with CN700 and CX700M2 chipsets." Apparently RAM modules (sticks) that are made with 8 chips (called also 'bank') of 128 Mbytes each (128 Mbit x 8) will not work in these boards, only modules made with 16 chips of 64MBytes each will work. This has been verified by 2 Members here at TK (thanks jbash and evilmonkey) So if your board won't boot or doesn't "see" the total capacity of the RAM installed, make sure to use the correct type of RAM module. Chris. =-=-=-=-=-= Those Kingston modules should work, Mat. They are 16 x 64, not 8 x 128. <== Apparently the latest 16 x 64 also nolonger work. =-=-=-=-=-=
