Hi

Some time ago I started listing the Open Source Software available for OS/2 and eComStation. And I found there are a lot available, so I started to list it and try to include the license under the source code is released. It is important to know the license since with that we can know the rules of distribution the source and binaries and know if it's an open source OSI approved license.

Currently there are a lot of OS/2-eCS software that is open source. It will be a nice start point if a developers wants to make something to see if there is any source code that can be reused for this project.

Well, actually it will be great if there will be more open source software that replaces the closed componentes of OS/2-eCS, under an OSI approved open source license.

So, I'm attaching the file. I'm also pretty sure that I most be missing more software. You are welcome to post here the open source programs I'm missing or any correction to the file.
