Download WebWriter/2
WebWriter/2 is distributed as Freeware, so feel free to download it and give it a try.
WebWriter/2 v1.2 is implemented in VX-REXX and requires the 2.1C version of the VX-REXX runtime library (vrobj.dll) to run. If you don't already have this version of the runtime library you should download the WebWriter/2 archive which includes it. If you do already have it, you can save yourself some time by downloading the archive which does not include it.
* Download the WebWriter/2 v1.2a patch (544K) -- This patch fixes a problem with HTML previews using recent versions of Netscape Navigator. If you already have WebWriter/2, you can simply download the patch, unzip it and copy it over your existing WebWrite.exe file. If you don't have WebWriter/2, you'll need to download one of choices below and install it before installing the patch
* Download WebWriter/2 v1.2 with vrobj.dll (1080K).
* Download WebWriter/2 v1.2 w/o vrobj.dll (686K) -- NOTE: The preview release of v1.2 used v2.1D of vrobj.dll. If you are using this version, I recommend that you switch back to the 2.1C version of vrobj.dll included in the full download.
* Download the WebWriter/2 v1.2 help file in .inf format (51K).
* Image sizer (12K) -- This is a free utility that will calculate sizes for GIF & JPEG images. To install it, simply create a program object for it on your desktop (you can put the executable in the WW/2 directory). To use it, simply drop an image file on the program object and it will display the height and width. Once it is running, you can drop an image file anywhere on the Image sizer window and it will calculate the dimensions.

If you're looking for a good HTML 3.2 reference, you won't do better than the Web Design Group's Wilbur reference. You may also wish to visit the W3 Consortium and check out the HyperText Markup Language (HTML): Working and Background Materials page or the HTML 3.2 Reference Specification.
There are also versions of the Web Design Group's reference which are designed for offline reading. They have various formats available on their site and the following 2 formats are available here:
* HTML 3.2 reference in Adobe Acrobat format. (417K)
* HTML 3.2 reference in OS/2 .INF format. (69K)
WebWriter/2 is no longer an active project. I'm currently working on Palm OS and Network projects for Standard Coffee an office coffee service company.
