http://pmmail.os2voice.org/index.php?title=PMMail_for_OS/2 You must be a VOICE member to get a registration code. If you were a member of VOICE on 31 December, 2006, then you are entitled to a free registration code for PMMail. This is a benefit to reward longtime membership. If your membership ID is over 1445 then you joined VOICE after 1 January, 2007, and must purchase a licence. The licence is $25.00. The easiest way to send in $25.00 is to pay the fee for an additional annual membership at BMT Micro or Mensys. This membership will NOT extend your membership time but is for purchase of a PMMail registration code only. To get a registration code send an email requesting one to treasurer at os2voice dot org This email must come from the email address that you used when you last sent in your membership application. Your membership ID number will be confirmed. If it is over 1445, your registration key will be send after you have purchased an additional annual membership from Mensys or BMT Micro. People who are not now members and want the program must purchase an annual membership to join and another membership for the licence fee. When you get the registration code you should follow the instructions in the Help screens to apply the registration to the program. If you are a VOICE member and cannot see the VOICE:Home page please send an email to sysadmin at os2voice org with the username you've used on this site and the email address registered with your VOICE membership. Release Notes PMMail/2 allows limited usage until it is registered. The limitations are: - 1 account - 1 attachment per new message - Each message printed has a statement that this is a demonstration version of PMMail/2. Migration Instructions Please bear in mind that this is software; there may be bugs, omissions and/or the possibility of data loss. You must backup your existing mailstore and program dependent files before installation of PMMail/2. The installer has been designed to "copy, then convert" mailer data wherever possible. It is not necessary to uninstall earlier betas before installing PMMail/2. It is OK to upgrade a Beta 1, 2, 3 or 4 installation to PMMail/2 3.0. * The new PMMail mailstore is not backward compatible with version 2.x. * PMMail has a greater abundance of status indicators, specifically for Spam/NoSpam, Send Pending and Undeleteable. Flag storage required some changes and additional fields to the file which breaks full compatibility with older versions. Those status indicators are lost when an older version, either os/2 or windows, loads the mailstore. The address book and filter file formats are unchanged (to date) and have no known incompatibilities.
