Do you know IP land attack?

SC can be crashed by the same scenario:

1. Run SC on port 8080
2. Telnet 127.0.0.1 8080
3. Type: GET http://127.0.0.1:8080/ HTTP/1.0 + enter + enter
4. SC goes down ;)

!DO NOT USE!
Due to numerous security problems in Smart Cache, I will never recommend anybody to use this dangerous software. If you are running it, remove this software from your computer immediately!

There are many other good and FREE proxy servers to choose from:

   1. Squid
   2. IProxy (AT&T Research)
   3. AnalogX
   4. JProxy
   5. Rabbit 

Development suspended
Because author is unable to fix this major problem, further development of Smart Cache is suspended. Author understands, that security issues in network software are critical. Because nobody will ever trust this software any more -- there is a project closure for preventing further damage.
