Gismo is the unique color coordinating utility for those who uses editors to make html documents with various color RGB codes. You may copy the RGB codes which indicated in Gismo to the Clipboard and copy it into the appropriate form in your html documents. You may use your favorite text editors and/or html editors. The Gismo can be worked with any editors that can be corresondent with the clipboards.

Unzip the Gsm???r.Zip to your optional directory and type `Gismo' from the directory which unzipped Gismo.Exe and document files are existed.

It's also good idea to make the apppropriate `Gismo' program icon onto your Desktop. Drag the program to any places in your desktop and appoint your `Gismo.Exe` by full path in the program path of its Property Note. Name Gismo, i.e. in the Icon page of the Property Note. Double-Click the Icon and Gismo is ready for your colors!!

This OS/2 application requires VROBJ.DLL, the runtime module from Watcom VX-REXX.

The Gismo works as you feel.
You may choose your target color from the `ColorList' or choose it from the one you make by the combination of moving up-down the `RGB Sliders`. Click the `Copy' button. Now you have the headed "#" with RGB codes such as "#000000"(Black) for instance, on your Clipboard. Then you can paste such clipboarded data to the place you want to, in your editing html documents.
1. You may also choose to copy specific color by name other than RGB codes by checking the radio button of the `Name'.

2. However, you may only have the data by RGB codes even the `Name' button is checked, when you choose the color made by the `RGB Sliders' and `RGB Spin Button'.

3. Also try checking the `Always Copy' and you will ALWAYS have the color data in your Clipboard without clicking the `Copy' button.

4. You may use `Tag Template' to choose the appropriate html tag with the color code.
   • `%c' will set the name of the color or the color code in the RGB. Let's say, you choose the darkseagreen for instance,

     Tag Template	Copied Tag
     %c	darkseagreen
     color="%c"	color="darkseagreen"

   • `%f' allows you the ColorName/RGB of the `Foreground' and, `%b' allows you the ColorName/RGB of the `Background'. For instance, you are choosing the royalblue for your foreground, and also choosing the mediumvioletred for your background, say,

     Tag Template	Copied Tag
     %f	royalblue
     %b	mediumvioletred
     forecolor="%f" backcolor="%b"	forecolor="royalblue" backcolor="mediumvioletred"

   • [Adding New Tags]
     1. Click the `New' button.
     2. Type an new desired html tag. You will see the tag which you typed in the undersigned dialog.
     3. Click the `Add' button.
     4. Repeate above procedure for adding more new tags.

   • [Delete registered tags]
     1. Choose the unwanted tags in the registered tag lists.
     2. Click the `Delete' button.
     3. Repeate above procedure if you have more than one.

5. You may sort those color lists by the orders in such as:
   • Name/Hue/Saturation/Value

6. Color Grid Table
   • `G' button allows you the Gradation Table in Color Grid Table.

7. You may choose indicated color number type from Hexadecimal and Decimal.
