Sometimes the files can be corrupted just enough to do that sort of thing by noise in the lines or whatever. I've had to do that once or twice. Cheers. 2================================================ Date: Sat, 31 Mar 2001 15:15:34 -0500 From: Ed Durrant Subject: Re: [os2genau] CD Audio playing problem I think this reply was meant for Leigh not I, Cheers, Ed. If so, ensure that the Sblive has its own IRQ. In my system, I have manually assigned the SBLive to IRQ 5. Also, you must disable the PnP OS in your BIOS. The sblive driver depends on the BIOS configuring the resources for the card. (assigning irq & io ports) Plug & Play OS =YES Change to =NO. Another SBLive user reported recently:- "I had to load the USB Drivers for Warp and the sb live works fine. It will be a problem with the IRQ sharing, please check which other device shares the soundblaster IRQ." Other Known problemsfrom the readme.txt file:- - Crash in PMMERGE when installing the driver on a system that uses the Scitech display drivers. Workaround: move the first minstall window (which asks you to select the sb driver) almost completely outside of the screen and press enter. Otherwise you might subscribe to the SBLive egroups site "sbliveos2ategroups dot com" and post your problem. Hope this helps, BobT.
