One app which works reasonably well is OziExplorer. There are some screen refresh isues but functions I've tested seem to work. You can find out about Odin at http://www dot netlabs dot org/odin/ Cheers Steve Clark Hamilton, Victoria, Australia 2============================================== Date: Mon, 03 Sep 2001 13:23:32 +1100 From: Ed Durrant Subject: Re: [os2genau] OS/2 and GPS software In DOS Settings have you got com_ direct_access, com_hold,hw_timer, int_during_IO set to ON, idle_seconds set to 60, idle_sensitivity set to 100 ??? these are NOT the defaults but often fix DOS/Win-OS2 Comms problems. If I was you, I'd also try the win32 code via Odin - Odin is working with more and more WIN32 programs that I am trying !! Hi Ed, Whether these settings are as you suggest or not, doesn't explain why FP14+ kills access to the com port, while it is hunky-dory on FP12-. > If I was you, I'd also try the win32 code via Odin - Odin is working with more and > more WIN32 programs that I am trying !! As Steve also suggested, ODIN might be a worthwhile solution. Cheers, Leigh Bunting Colonel Light Gardens South Australia Find out more about Col.
