Nope, these settings don't improve the situation. -- Leigh Bunting Colonel Light Gardens South Australia Find out more about Col. With .dsk files, I have noted in the past that the file size via http is about 5Kb larger than an ftp download. The file size via ftp agrees with the file size listed on the ftp site, so http downloads must add some baggage somewhere which results in the file not being recognised. I was going to try ODIN, to see if that would resolve my GPS issue, but apart from the ODIN file download link on the Netlab page crashing with a 404 message, trying to download the .wpi file from Ian's site via http gave the previously mentioned message. I cannot discover the correct user/password/account combination for ftp that the netlabs ftp site is happy with. Ian, is there a way of doing ftp downloads from your site? They need to be setup in your Edit-Preferences-Applications Netscape menu Descriptions = dsk download MIME Type: [blank] Application: c:\netscape\program\plugins\npfi.dll Warpin files, there is a package to run to include the application MIME type into Netscape automatically. The file is included in the warpin.zip/exe install files, had a quick look but I cant remember what its called. Hmm, might be called "wizilla.exe" >I was going to try ODIN, to see if that would resolve my GPS issue, but >apart from the ODIN file download link on the Netlab page crashing with >a 404 message, trying to download the .wpi file from Ian's site via http >gave the previously mentioned message. >Ian, is there a way of doing ftp downloads from your site? I still havent figured out why but some people cannot use FTP to ftp.os2site dot com (also on the bottom menu front page). Its not a windows thing either, most OS/2 and Win users get in ok, some dont. The would be hackers get in ok :-) but cant do anything :-)) >I cannot discover the correct user/password/account combination for ftp >that the netlabs ftp site is happy with. username = anonymous pw = at (or your email address) Cheers Ian B Manners http://www.os2site dot com/ We are born naked, wet, and hungry.
