I have also written many times - even offering to supply them with articles if they found it hard to get information. I also used to subscribe but I found the mag was in the shops 10 days or 2 weeks BEFORE I got my mag in the mail in Adelaide. I'd normally expect subscribers to get the mag first or at least at the same time as it hit the shops ! The result was I'd read colleagues copies and when my finally arrived it was old news ! I think even Windoze fans would have been disapointed with the October APC, so much on Cameras and Hardware ! It has happened before that the OS/2 workshop has simply been misssed off the CD, but in these cases, it's still been mentioned on the CD contents - hence a problem when the created the CD. This time there is no reference anywhere and as I said they've even droped the three word description of how to start the CD for OS/2 users. What is interesting is what is slated for next month is Windows XP - what's the likelyhood of Linux or MAC now being reduced to just CD-Based articles in the space that OS/2 used to have to make more room in the mag for yet another flavour of Windo$e ?? There are thank goodness, still some good OS/2 E-zine sites around, but I like to sit down and read from good old fashioned PAPER sometimes ! Perhaps we should approach these sites and ask if they are willing to produce a print compatable version of the site ?? Cheers/2 Ed.
