That's pretty fast ! It's really coming up an ADSL link ? If so, what speed is the uplink (ie Smart road to Internet ?). Usually the uplink is slower than the download on both ADSL and cable connections, except if you have unlimited bandwidth (as I now do) when they are usually the same. By the way, the bottom 4 specialists and clinpath do not bring up any information, is this correct (ie info not yet entered) or is this a bug ? Cheers/2 Ed. Back in a sec ... Well a shift-reload (which should normally go back to the server to get its data) was just as quick. - So that's pretty impressive. While we're on the point of website speed can anyone on the group tell me the best way to include phots in a page so that they are loaded to the callers browser both quickly and completely ? Under this scenario, I am impressed at the loading speed of the http://www.smart-road dot com dot au site. I believe the theoretical maximum speed for ADSL is 7 mb/s but I guess it'll be a while before we get there. One thing is for sure, the days of the 56k modem except as backup link are numbered. Ed That would presume that every one in your street / neighborhood are only down loading using ASDL - from what I have heard you cannot have high speed (1.5M+) upload and download speeds in the same cable bundle - the 7M would the total bandwidth with no guard bands etc and all data in the bundle going in the same direction.
