Does anybody in Melb want a Norman Virus Control, version 4.6.2 to play with? Remember the bloke who visited the Melb sig a couple of months ago, and gave out sample copies of Norman Privacy? I picked up a Norman Virus Control Single User version 4.6.2 at a swapmeet a couple of weeks ago for $5. Sure enough, it includes OS2, even though it isn't mentioned on the cover. The CD pack includes a form to register, and download updates, for about $80 ( Ok, no saving there - but you can install it and find out if you want the updates, for $5 plus blood, sweat & tears ) I intend getting at least one more copy at the Ivanhoe meet this coming Sunday ( the bloke who had them is usually at Ivanhoe ). Does anybody else want a copy for the $5? Does anyone on this list run a Linux server as a file & print server within an OS/2 LAN Domain ? If so, what problems and restrictions are there in doing this ? Does security (both access and file level) work in this environment ? Cheers/2 Ed.
