Is someone compiling a list, if so what for? 1st, I wish people wouldnt send emails this early in the morning, the delivery wakes me up :-| Just a way for everyone to learn which other OS/2 users are in there area, and who is on the list. I'm toying with putting names/location on a webpage (no email address's) and maybe updating it whenever. I will of cause require peoples permission to do that (by private email). The downstairs machine is not used all the time nor every day, so I use a .cmd file to connect the downstairs label printer to the upstairs machine LPT4. A .cmd file such as logon dstairs /P=dstairs /D=DOMAIN /R net use lpt4 \\server89\label does the job very nicely, but I would like something with a message for my secretary to tell her if the connection attempt failed. I tried if errorlevel 0 goto ... and if not exist \\SERVER89 goto ... but these don't work. How do I tell if the logon or net use has not connected?
