I need to set up a basic ftp upload for a windoze user;

it simply needs to upload 5 small text files to a web server, I need to automate it for the user so they just click one button to upload, that's all, what can I use on 
windoze for that ?

I find it is quite good.

Which version of WIndows?

In Windows NT, 2000 (and probably XP) you can use a script with the command
line ftp client.
