My Audio ID is set to -1, I don't know the significance of this - it may be the default but it seems to work for me as I get audio from those DVDs that I can get to play. It may be significant that I use the "de-facto standard" audio card - Sound Blaster Live - using UniAud drivers. You may want to post this question on the Warpmedia list at WarpMedia at yahoogroups dot com That list covers WarpMedia in general, not just the WarpMedia product and this includes warpVision and running windows media programs via ODIN etc. Cheers/2 Ed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Fri, 25 Apr 2003 10:51:09 From: Voytek Eymont Subject: Re: modem setup strings for 56k Re: The smoke escaped ** Reply to note from bob Thu, 24 Apr 2003 12:28:16 +0800 Bob, Ed I haven't (as yet) tried your strings, as, last night, the modem connected OK on the 1st attempt (before I downloaded mssg with setup strings) , now that I downloaded the mssg, I'll try it later today meanwhile, I've plugged another same brand/type modem to another PC, another location, as is, with defualt InJoy setup, it connected happily at Modem connect.: CONNECT 49333 so, I'll take this modem with me to try, as well as, the strings you and Ed suggested, and, I';; also check my MDF connection, (whilst waiting for the MODLS or whatever Tesltra calls the modem test in fact, as we recently put in a new Krone and a new 50 pair from the main MDF to the sub, I might transfer my line on to the new Krone/new 50 pair FWIW, this WebExcel, even though, the box is ticked for AUS, is configured for US, the printed docs don't say how to change ----- at&f OK at&v ACTIVE PROFILE: B1 E1 L2 M1 N1 T Q0 V1 W0 X4 Y0 &C1 &D2 &G0 &J0 &P0 &Q0 &S0 &U0 &Y0 %A013 %C1 %E1 %G1 \A3 \C0 \G0 \J0 \K5 \N3 \Q3 \T000 \X0 -C0 -J1 "H3 "O032 S00:000 S01:000 S02:043 S03:013 S04:010 S05:008 S06:002 S07:060 S08:002 S09:006 S10:014 S11:070 S12:050 S18:000 S25:005 S30:000 S33:000 S37:000 STORED PROFILE 0: B1 E1 L2 M1 N1 T Q0 V1 W0 X4 Y0 &C1 &D2 &G0 &J0 &P0 &Q0 &S0 &U0 %A013 %C1 %E1 %G1 \A3 \C0 \G0 \J0 \K5 \N3 \Q3 \T000 \X0 -C0 -J1 "H3 "O032 S00:000 S02:043 S06:002 S07:060 S08:002 S09:006 S10:014 S11:070 S12:050 S18:000 S25:005 S30:000 S33:000 S37:000 ati1 CD08.55 - 612 (10/19/99) SERIAL - SPEAKERPHONE 05 - DSP PATCH: 001.55 ati3 MD56xx ati5 Present, 32K DSP RAM.000 Host I/F: Serial P.
