Would you post the following on the OS/2 discussion group, with my e-mail address? Want to bring our Warp 3 (that has no fix pak applied) up to at least FP 35. We have FP 35, but after reading all of the "readme" files, am reluctant to load same. There was a another disk that developed by an OS/2 distributer that went belly up, but was carried on by one their former employees, that made the job eaiser to upgrade Warp. Is this disk still available, from who and how much? Respond to, "powersurge_11 at juno dot com". Would make the jump to Warp 4, if available from someone, but not sure this computer has enough guts and power to handle it, plus, spend more time at the store that we do at home. Thanks in advance. It won't be long now. ===================END FORWARDED MESSAGE=================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Fri, 25 Jul 2003 10:53:08 +1000 (AEST) From: "John Angelico" Subject: Fwd: TuDogs Finds 49-03 To: POSSI and OS/2 Australian lists For those who don't know TUDOGS (The Ultimate Directory Of Gratis Software) have a look at www.tudogs dot com/. Lot's of stuff for free, some useful, most only for Windows platforms. Occasionally we find something useful like fonts to match Win platforms and make importing documents easier, or DOS proggies that run like a dog in Win but go well in OS/2. Occasionally a good idea surfaces, like this TreePad Lite database. Does anyone know of a similar style in OS/2? ie. tree structure, but with hyperlinks to collect and organise unformatted disparate data types. It's nearly like the layout of Help and .inf files... They say there is a Linux version. Anyone wanna try porting it? TreePad Lite I have had a number of requests for a free, personal database. Here's one. Store notes, emails, texts, hyperlinks, etc. into one or multiple databases. With the look and feel of the familiar Windows explorer, editing, storing, browsing, searching and retrieving your data is simple. Available in an English and an Asian version. Browse the site, because there's also a Linux version. Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. Free. 465Kb.
