Hi Paul, Yes I realise that , but with cable not available within about 20km [no more going to be laid] and as Telstra are the only ones to actually supply the copper lines for ADSL here, no alternative providers without that basic line quality, and although Wireless access is available locally, I'm about 2km from their tower, which happens to have an intervening ridge cutting off line-of-sight and thus access. If the wireless near you is the unwired network, try the 30 day money back trial. I understand you can go to Harvey Norman and pick up a kit. If it works great, then you can keep it. The only 'funny' was the comment "unopened if sealed by the manufacturer".
