Only DVD-RW disks can be blanked. If you are using the CDRecord / DVDDAO solution, there is a command line option to blank a disk or you can use CDR-Tools which is a Gui based front end to the same function. If you're using RSJ - you will need someone who is using this program to explain where the blanking option is.
