Having SDL is optional, but if you compile Ekiga without SDL, the fullscreen feature will be unavailable. Now the Gnose libraries we don't have - except for use within Xfree86 so that's out - however it implies that SDL can be used in place of Gnome which we do have. I also have a build of Openldap so we're OK there, so theoretically at least, we just need the Opal and Pwlib libraries - not sure what would be involved in building these...
