Hi,

   Here's a question I SHOULD know the answer to, but can't seem to 
crack it.

   How does one find the version number of the kernel under eComStation 
? Under OS/2 it is displayed at boot up, but not under eComstation.

Go to your boot root and type :-

bldlevel os2krnl

Of course.

To elaborate a bit, the reason why it's diplayed on one system and not 
anther is the presence/absence of this file:

Os2Norev.$$$

in the directory \os2\boot.

By simply deleting the file, the message will be displayed at boot up again.
