Simply dragging and dropping does not work. If anyone else comes across or thinks of any keep it rolling. This is for the purpose of finding out if these companies still using OS/2 can be "transitioned" to a higher plane, like OS/2 beyond v2.xx ! I know that Westpac and NAB "transitioned" off many years ago now, so I'd be suprised if Bank of Melbourne (Wespac took over) were still using OS/2 but will find out. (remember I'm an ex IBM and NCR contractor :-)) I know Coles-Myer also use to use OS/2 for backend and POS but havent seen any PS/2 in there department stores since about 2000 but obviously there still out there so will also follow that one up. Unimaint :-) The other way I've done it in the past was to rar up c:\desktop, unrar it on d:\ on the other PC, then open the D:\desktop and drap and drop, so I'm surprised that it doesnt work for you unless your not coping attributes/EA's for some reason. Mind you though, both those systems were originally unrar'ed from the same image so the desktop ID would have been the same in both to start with so I wonder if thats the problem. Ed, try PSaver from this utility pack www.kepl dot com dot au/esstu/default.htm called "esstu" - it sounds better than it looks :-) Son Christopher packaged up a bunch of his OS/2 utilities. > >Cheers >Ian Manners >http://www.os2site dot com/ > > >No Microsoft programs were used in the creation or distribution of this message.
