I got one of the HL2070Ns, in case we ever get as far as networking computers at home. Incidentally, I noticed last week that Dick Smith Powerhouse were flogging the 2040s at $69. Make sure NOT to turn on fast fonts and TO turn on system fonts only and all should work. Dick Smith as well as Office Works are owned by Woolworths I think, so it is most likely the same ship load of printers they are selling off. Also of note, the dual-pack of toner cartridges for the 2040 & 2070 are on special at the moment at office works. However at $69 it's cheaper to buy a new printer than a replacement (single) toner cartridge !! Cheers/2 Ed. DSE is a Woolies unit but OW is a Coles division. Coles is now a subsidiary of Wesfarmers (mainly Bunnings hardware and Blackwoods industrial supplies over in the east). The various divisions of COles have been spread across Wesfarmers (so OW is with Bunnings in the "HOME IMPROVEMENT & OFFICE SUPPLIES" division - gee wow!!) Something tells me they might consider each other as mortal enemies... :-) Best regards John Angelico OS/2 SIG os2 at melbpc dot org dot au or talldad at kepl dot com dot au ___________________ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
