I find that if a pdf file is opened in Lucide at normal size or 100% the top part of each page is OK but on scrolling down to the lower part of the page many lines are blank as happened in 1.2. If the page size is reduced to 50 - 60% then the page is visible without missing lines but print is too small to read. Printing the page results in the complete text. Does anyone else get the same problem? Yes, I have the same problem, scrolling down causes a mass of blank lines, and I have to wait a couple of seconds before the video returns to normal. So, I think the amounts of seconds is dependable on the horse power of your system, and it may take for ever if the system is a little to weak. Incidentally, IIRC I didn't have that problem with SNAP, but as I have been forced to use panorama I can't check it any more. -- Groeten uit Gent, Kris -------------------------------------------------- http://www./melbpc/ - The Melbourne OS/2 SIG === **= Email 3 ==========================** Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2010 19:00:50 +1100 From: Alan Duval Subject: Re: Lucide Kris Steenhaut wrote: > Alan Duval ha scritto: >> I have just installed Lucide 1.3.1 hoping that it would eliminate >> problems in Lucide 1.2, but no such luck. However Acrobat5 won't open the latest PDF's so I am forced to use Lucide. My PC has plenty of power and I have an LCD monitor. I have eCs 2.0 rc4 installed on this PC using SNAP Graphics and eCs 2.0 rc6 on another using Panorama. Same problem in both. Exactly, so you can't tell really, can you? > My PC has plenty of power and I have an LCD monitor. Incidentally, I have the very same problem with the latest version of Open Office. Very nnoying it is! Not so though with the Innotek 1.1 version wich is still working here. So, alas, to me it looks more like a system problem than anything else. -- Groeten uit Gent, Kris -------------------------------------------------- http://www./melbpc/ - The Melbourne OS/2 SIG === **= Email 5 ==========================** Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2010 19:34:17 +1000 From: Mike O'Connor Subject: Re: Lucide On 2010-04-23 16:40 (AEST), Alan Duval wrote: > I have just installed Lucide 1.3.1 hoping that it would eliminate > problems in Lucide 1.2, but no such luck. Hi Alan, Actually you didn't write at that time (it was actually 17:40) - T'bird took that incorrect one above from your origination time which still has a "+1100" UTC offset - it's still set to Daylight Saving Time, which is how your later response to Kris is apparently earlier than his!
