c) New USB drivers (USB 1.1 & 2.0 Base stack; Quatech USB-to-Serial)

The USB Basic Device Support Package provides the basic OS/2 support required for
USB devices that meets the USB 1.0 OHCI, USB 1.1 UHCI, or USB 2.0 EHCI specifications.

This package is a prerequisite for all other OS/2 USB device drivers and must be
installed first.

The OS/2 Quatech USB to Serial Driver Package (USBQSER.EXE) provides support for
USB to Serial Adapters manufactured by Quatech, Inc. on the OS/2 Operating System.

The SciTech SNAP Graphics for OS/2 IBM Special Edition (a.k.a. SNAP Graphics/se) is
a set of graphic adapter device drivers (GRADD) supporting a variety of chip sets
from the leading chip set manufacturers.
SNAP Graphics/se is the new compatible replacement for previous versions of SciTech
Display Doctor for OS/2 IBM Special Edition (SDD/se).

SNAP Graphics/se supports many video features, including:

* CRT Resolutions of 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 2048x1536, plus user-specified custom modes

f) Wireless LAN Monitor V1.02

The first public release of the Wireless LAN Monitor is available. This program
is available both as a XCenter Widget (for XWorkPlace, available from
http://www.xworkplace.org) as well as a standalone program.

This program program provides the following features:
* monitoring the status of your Wireless LAN connection
* support of multipe connection profiles, which can be exported and imported
* optionally configuring the TCP/IP interface of the Wireless LAN device
* automatic connection scan on startup
* automatic generation of WEP keys

Currently connection profiles read and stored with the Wireless LAN Monitor
with few exceptions are downwards compatible to those of the older application WifiState.

g) OS/2 Kit for Citrix ICA Client 7.100 Release 1 available

A few weeks ago, Innotek released the first "InnoTek OS/2 Platform Enablement Kit
for the Citrix® ICA® Client for Win32".
It consists of an integrated toolset to allow deploying the original Citrix® ICA®
Client for Windows version 7.1 and later versions on the OS/2 platform.

h) OS/2 support for IBM ThinkPad T42 (Model 2373-xxx) Systems

IBM ThinkPad T42 systems support the Intel Centrino mobile technology, including
the Pentium M Processor, Intel 855PM chipset, Intel ICH4-M chipset and Enhanced
SpeedStep. Some ThinkPad T42 systems do not contain wireless LAN adapters, and,
therefore, do not support the entire scope of Centrino mobile technology.

In addition, ThinkPad T42 systems support USB 2.0, including USB-attached CD-RW
drives, and IDE-attached CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW drives using the UDF file system.

The following IBM OS/2 operating system versions support these ThinkPad T42
features, when the appropriate OS/2 FixPaks and device-driver support are applied.

i) Firewire (IEEE 1394) support

The NetLabs development community is about to develop Firewire (IEEE 1394) support
for OS/2.

The goal of the project is to write an open source OS/2 IEEE 1394 controller driver
and mass storage layer. The initial version of the driver will support PCI attached
Firewire controllers build around the VIA Technologies Inc. VT6306 chipset.
A hard drive connected via a Firewire case will be supported by the sbp2 protocol.

j) Lotus Notes / Domino v6 Client for OS/2

Innotek offers a technology demo of the Lotus Notes / Domino v6 Client for OS/2.
