Subject:  [VOICENWS] An apology, a test and more.

This is an apology from the system administrator at os2voice.org. We have
had several incidents of duplicate posts to some of the lists I am
ultimately responsible for. We are rigorously working to elimintate the
problem and prevent it from occuring again. We have several other lists
available that are not moderated in any manner. Those can be found on the
VOICE website along with insructions on how to subscribe.

This message is also a test to see if the problem is eliminated. Should
anyone on this list get a duplicate of this message please "zip" the
entire message file (both files) and send them to secretaryatos2voice.org.

These lists and all of the services VOICE offers are offered for the
benefit of the entire OS/2 Community. We at VOICE work very hard to assure
our visitors, subscriber's and our members receive the best experience
possible. There are a "few" incredibly hard working people behind the
scenes. These folks volunteer their time. I emphasize the word "few" and
emphasize the word volunteer.  I will take this space to publicly thank
them for that hard work and hope they continue their efforts.

Now for the news : 

UseNet is on it's way to VOICE! We have obtained the necessary software
and we are actively setting it up. VOICE plans to offer the public usenet
feeds of the comp.os.os2.* tree as well as mirrors of some other well
known and well used groups. We also plan to offer our own private groups.
There has also been some  discussion of a "new" idea in some other lists
of a "usenet2mail" system recently written by an outstanding  member of
our community. We deisre the community input so we can best serve the
community.  If you are interested in these ideas please send an email to
