Do you think you and a few friends might be able to host a Warpstock? It's not as hard as you think. But you need to hurry. June 1st is the cut-off date for the Warpstock 2002 "Intent To Bid". What's that? It's simply a quick email indicating that you're interested in hosting Warpstock 2002. All you need to specify in the email is: - The name of your city - The names of the people in your group (we recommend at least four) - Any other information you happen to have, like possible locations for the event. And that's it! If you submit this email by June 1st, you'll have all summer to work on the actual bid. So call a few of your fellow OS/2 users and talk about it. Then send an email to bidsatwarpstock.org with the information. Hurry - you only have a week left! We've already received some bid intents, but we would like more. The Board of Directors will be more than happy to assist you in your bid application, so you have nothing to lose! The 5th annual Warpstock conference will be held October 6-8, 2001, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is produced by Warpstock, Inc., a North Carolina non-profit corporation. The Warpstock annual conference is a gathering of OS/2 users, developers, and vendors from around the world for the purpose of education and advocacy.
