Date: Thu, 07 Jun 2001 14:38:07 -0400 From: madodelatptdprolog.net Subject: [VOICENWS] WarpMedia tp5 From: tamatgmx.de (Timo Maier) WarpMedia Technology Preview #1x05. 1. Requirements wmed_tp1.zip 2. New in this update: - XCenter Widget plugin DLL - AVI and MPEG-1 video seeking - AVI and MPEG stream info (pretty limited still) - \PIPE\WarpMedia - commands undocumented :> It can only handle one connection at a time, in this release. The XCenter Widget connects to it. - WarpAMP skin now uses the LC_CNT_TrackTimeRemaining - LC_CNT_TrackTimeRemaining - New default skin: iMSkin2 - ID3v1 tag reading for MPEG-1 audio. - Remember the playlist queue position from previous session. - When having Styler/2 installed, with its full window drag feature, the main window would start to move when you interacted with the skin controls. - Maximizing the DIVE window should now put it on top of applications such as WarpCenter, XCenter, etc. - Fixed drag & drop to shaped skins Skins can be found at: ftp://ftp.sdg.os2.nu/pub/warpmedia/skins/ ftp://anduin.net/pub/warpmedia/skins/ 3. Installation of the XCenter Widget plugin Put WMXCW.DLL in your XWorkplace\plugins\xcenter directory and restart XCenter. The widget requires WarpMedia.exe to be running for it to actually do something useful. For more information about XWorkplace and XCenter, go to http://www.xworkplace.org/ 4. Previous updates: - Skin MetaControl (see rt.h) - Load default skin menu item - Default skin is now remembered - PM lockup issue resolved - A way to make a shaped skin compatible with all colour depths (see rt.h) - Load media menu item and LoadMedia skin control (see rt.h) - Drag & drop to main & DIVE windows - Shaped skin optimization - Some other minor fixes 15/16/24bpp support added to fullscreen/MGL & DIVE. WarpMedia.exe - Use parameter /nofs if you experience a PM lockup when starting WarpMedia.exe. - Some versions of RC created unloadable skins. AVIDLL.dll - A few crashes fixed. WMMPEG1.dll - If you had problems with SYS3176, get WMMPEG1-486.zip. Get it at: ftp://ftp.sdg.os2.nu/pub/warpmedia/testcase/wmed_tp1x05.zip ftp://anduin.net/pub/warpmedia/testcase/wmed_tp1x05.zip Have fun. PS: the fact that we're "pissing around with fancy graphics" is exactly what gives WarpMedia potential to become something useful. ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to majormajoratos2voice.org unsubscribe news end If you have an announcement you would like posted to the VOICE News list, please send it to submitatos2voice.org.
