The IBM PCMCIA CDPD wireless data modem is available from PC Surplus
Online (http://www.pcsurplusonline.com) for just $29.95 plus shipping.

This modem uses the same 19.2 Kbps North American wireless data network as
the Palm Omnisky products.  You can find a wireless CDPD Internet service
provider by visiting:

Some providers offer unlimited nationwide wireless Internet access through
the CDPD network (where coverage is available).

Also can be used for analog cellular voice communications.

It's not the lightest CDPD solution on the market, but it's certainly one
of the least expensive.
