For a list of changes, take a look at http://home.online.no/~leifel/lcmd/history.html Larsen Commander has a look and feel like the classic Norton Commander, but in a GUI environment. It combines the best of two very different worlds; - the command line and the file management panels. Both are available at the same time, and even in parallel while one or more commands are running in the background! Larsen Commander is extremely useful espessially for advanced users such as programmers and system administrators that knows the power and the value of having the command line possibilities and the file operation panels available at the same time and in the same shell window. In fact, you can use Larsen Commander almost exactly the same way as you are using the standard system shell, but with a large number of additional and powerful features, such as the console monitor being scrollable and not limited to those "stupid" 25 lines or so of the default OS/2 shell. But Larsen Commander is not only for the advanced users. Even the novice will find this piece of software very nice at hand. It makes the standard file operations a play, such as copying, moving and renaming files and directories. And of course the command line can be 100% disabled and hidden, for those who never uses it anyway.
