Tustin Ave. SCOUG's 8th Anniversary Celebration and Installing Iterations of OS/2: eComStation, Warp 4, Convenience Pak, and Warp Server for e-Business (rescheduled from September) If this sounds familiar, it's because this was what we'd intended for last month. What could be more fun than watching OS/2 install? Why, watching it install over and over again, of course! Think we're joking? Well, think again. SCOUG members always seem to find the installation of OS/2 fascinating, so we're going to do it up royally. We'll have several basically identical clean systems ready and waiting Saturday morning. The plan is to install a different OS/2 flavor on each machine, and our targets are eCS, Warp 4, Convenience Pak, and Warp Server for e-Business. We may even try installing eCS over an existing OS/2 desktop just to see what happens. Cake? Did we mention cake? You already know to expect free donuts, but this is extra special. It's our anniversary celebration after all, so of course there will be fattening treats for the occasion. And And gifts? You bet! A super celebration raffle with no junk. You'd You'd have to say we're packing a lot into this one meeting! Help Desk chats now happen on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM PDT.
