Many OS/2 User Groups and other noncommercial organizations will be exhibiting at the event to help and assist attendees with their questions about the OS/2 and eComStation operating systems. If you want to see and try out new shareware for OS/2 and eComStation, Warpstock Europe is the place to be. Many shareware developers will be at the event to show off the results of their hard work. Among the applications that will be demonstrated are Peter Koller's Maul Publisher for OS/2, Dimitri Michelinakis' WebMail/2 web mail interface system, the notorious disk partitioning tool DFSee from Jan van Wijk, Vincenzo Venuto's Postgress/SQL database port for OS/2, the ISDNPM Internet dialer and much more. Members of the OS/2 Netlabs (http://www.netlabs.org) will be present at Warpstock Europe to demonstrate their popular projects such as Odin and to give a number of lectures about interesting software programs, including the Opera for OS/2 web browser, and Ulrich Moeller's WarpIN and XWorkplace. At the event, you will also see The Gimp image manipulation program at work, running seamlessly on an eComStation Desktop using Hoblink X11. At the VOICE booth (http://www.os2voice.org) attendees will be able to obtain information material, join VOICE or renew their membership, chat about OS/2 and eComStation, and see some programs demoed. VOICE will be offering a CD with the complete archive of the Newsletter for sale at a price of about 5 Euro or 200 BEF. Also on offer will be printed versions of some VOICE Newsletter issues. Of course, a fair number of user groups will also be exhibiting at Warpstock Europe. Visit their booth to learn about their activities, find help and assistance with your questions about OS/2 or even become a member of such a user group and join our beloved OS/2 community.
