Subject:  [VOICENWS] News List Submissions request.

It has been requested that news list posts include the full URL for
downloadable files so that WGet or it's variants can be used to obtain the
file.  If you are submitting a post to the news list it would be helpful
to include this fully qualified link if you know it, even if it is
temporary, as in a Hobbes /INCOMING file.  

If the file is in fact a new file on hobbes, and not yet been placed in
it's final location it is also helpful to include a Hobbes search link so
the file can be easily located after it is moved.  To do this just add the
file name to the end of the following link:
    
    http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/cgi-bin/h-search?key=

No post will be rejected because of this.  It's just a request to make
things a bit easier for those reading the announcements.
