It allows the sharing of bookmark (or other) files from multiple computers, or from multiple operating systems on a single computer. PMRA uses ftp transfers in binary mode for more error-resistant file transfers, eliminating the gradual and subtle data corruption inherent in the original Netscape 4.x implementation. PMRA can be used under OS/2 or Win32, and requires access to an ftp server.
