Hi Folks!

If any of you are wondering why the news server has been acting so wonky
today, it's because some clown in Fayetteville, Arizona has been attacking
it.

I have him blocked from accessing this system now, so that should put an
end to it for the moment. I've got a complaint in at swbell.net, which was
the originating domain, so we'll see if anything comes of it.

Also, Doug... if you want to post to usenet via me, you're going to have
to change your configuration a little bit. My news provider does a check
on the domain and rejects all mail that doesn't have a valid host address.
If you want to post, you'll need to put your spamtrap into the userid
address.... eg: jake!spamatconsultron.ca, not jakeatspam!consultron.ca.

This is generally true for everyone... so check your from:
addresses!
