Russell O'Connor has released upfated MMIO Codecs for MP3 and OggVorbis

After installation, MP3s and Ogg Vorbii can be played in any OS/2 player.

    * Files can play by double-clicking on the fileÆs icon.

    * Files can play in any Rexx program by using Multimedia calls.

    * Files can be played with the Rexx program PLAY.CMD.

    * Files can be converted to any audio format that OS/2 can ReadWrite,
such as RIFF WAVE, by using Convert to in the context menu.

    * Files can be streamed over the Internet.

Also included is convertToOgg which is a little program to convert any
MMOS/2 readable format into a Ogg Vorbis (some restrictions apply). 

MMIOMP3

    * Changes from 0.4 to 0.4.1 (2002-08-28)

          o Fixed some minor bugs such as context-menu convert.

          o Added uninstaller.



MMIOVorbis

    * Changes from 0.2 to 0.3 (2002-08-28)

          o Added uninstaller.

          o Added limited use-at-own-risk Ogg Vorbis encoder.

          o Updated from 1.0rc2 ogg and vorbis libraries to 1.0.
