Date: Fri, 27 Dec 2002 12:38:00 -0500 From: madodelatptdprolog.net Subject: [VOICENWS] event: Warpstock 2003 bid notice deadline December 31, 2002 From: madodelatptdprolog.net Just a reminder that Warpstock, Inc will be Accepting Bids For Warpstock 2003 up until and including December 31, 2002! Teams wishing to bid on hosting Warpstock 2003 should submit an e-mail letter of their intent to host this event to the Board of Directors at warpstock-corpatyahoogroups.com as soon as possible, but not later than December 31, 2002. Without a bid from an independent team, there will NOT be a 2003 event. As of this writing we have received no official notice of intent to bid. It is essential that a local team host Warpstock 2003 as it is much more desirable to have local people on the ground instead of have the Board members try to organize the event from remote locations. The inital Event Team needs only 4-6 persons to start the process and can add additional members as necessary as it gets closer to the Event date. The Board has provided the "Bid Proposal Process" to assist all interested parties. The Bid Proposal Process is available immediately at: http://www.warpstock.org/bid_proposal.html The Board of Directors will remain in close contact with the Teams throughout the entire bid process, including final site selection. The Board of Directors contains a number of past Event Team members and will be available to provide support for any group wishing to submit a proposal. Now is the time to start! So we at Warpstock, Inc wish everyone a joyous and prosperous New Year. With your help we hope to make Warpstock 2003 the best Warpstock yet! Warpstock, Inc., is a North Carolina corporation.
