Date: Wed, 06 Aug 2003 16:23:32 -0300 From: "Mark Dodel" Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Innotek Font engine use may be possible in other apps From: "Gregory L. Marx" I had posted a question on InnoTek's support board asking for info on how to use their anti-aliased font engine with other applications ... Achim Hasenmueller of InnoTek responded with the following info: "Our engine is 100% API compatible with PMGPI. All you have to do is import from FTGPI.DLL instead of PMGPI.DLL. Note that it will not work most likely as we have not tested anything besides Mozilla. Also, we will most likely not provide any support -- maybe on a best effort basis if the problem reports are meaningful and precise ..." So it would appear it could be done ... The question I guess is "how" ... which I'll be looking into ... Anyway, I figured the more people who know this the better chance someone might try it and get it working. -- Warpstock 2003 - San Francisco, California, October 18-19 http://www.warpstock.org [Moderator's note: Because of the incredible increase in SPAM lately I will now endeavor to add DESPAM to email addresses in all posts to the News list.
