Metcalf" I need to clarify a point in my previous announcement regarding PKZIP. In that announcement, I said that PKZIP for OS/2 is commercial. In fact PKWARE is only treating PKZIP for OS/2 as if it were commercial in that your only option from their web site is to buy it. Actually, however, PKZIP for OS/2 is shareware. The product itself says this everytime it starts up, and several files in PKZIP for OS/2 archive say this as well. If you wish to "try it before you buy it", it's on Hobbes at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/archiver/pkos2250.exe . My thanks to J. R. Fox for prompting into investigating this further. ------------------------------------- Walter F. Metcalf V.O.I.C.E.
